How it works

A fixed price and a date in writing, before you pay anything.
Progress on a staging server, not one big reveal at the end.
Launch, a walkthrough of the admin, and ongoing care if you want it.

Rate

From €70 per hour; a new store is almost always a fixed price agreed after the first call. PrestaShop itself has no licence or monthly fee.

Remote, from Slovakia

I work remotely from Nitra, Slovakia, in the CET time zone, in English. Working hours overlap fully with the UK and the rest of Europe, and with US East Coast mornings. You get one person from the first call to launch, progress you can click on a staging server every week, and invoices from an EU company with VAT reverse charge for business clients.

Questions

Why PrestaShop and not Shopify?

Shopify is a good choice if you want everything hosted and are happy paying per month and per transaction. PrestaShop is open source: no platform fees, full control over data and integrations, and strong in European markets. If Shopify suits you better, I will say so.
