About

I build the whole thing, from the first screen to the database, and I am still around after launch. More than ten years in: product teams at Lokalise and on a live-event platform, client stores, and products of my own.

10+years of professional work11projects with a case study5years in a team of six on a live-event platform1,600+automated tests in my own SaaS

How I work

  • The server decides.Prices, deadlines and permissions come from the API, never from a copy in the app. A copy of a rule drifts, and then shows a button that fails. It is why the FirmFlow app can be offline without being wrong.
  • Measured, not guessed.Speed is a number on a phone, not a feeling on a laptop. On Matrace Lema that number went from about 40 to over 90.
  • Tests before trust. My own product has more than 1,600 tests running against real PostgreSQL. They are why I can change it on a Friday.
  • Nothing ships unread.I build with AI every day, and every generated line goes through the same review and tests as the ones I type. How I work with AI.
  • I say when not to build it.If a plugin, a spreadsheet or a smaller first version does the job, you hear it from me before you pay for anything bigger.
  • You own it.Code, data, hosting and domain are yours from the first commit, documented so that someone else could take over.

Where I have worked

2023 – now
Senior software engineer, Fellow Bytes, my own company, Nitra

SaaS products and e-commerce for clients, end to end: Canteen, FirmFlow, FyzioDesk and the stores on this page. I also keep building AI features for For Best Clients’ merchants.

2022 – 2023
Software engineer, Lokalise, remote

Over-the-air translations: apps pull the bundle that matches their release, so mobile teams change copy without shipping a build. Rebuilt the bundle management UI and the export pipelines.

2019 – 2022
Web developer, For Best Clients, Trnava

Gradus, a multi-tenant e-commerce platform. React, Redux and Next.js on the front, six payment gateways, ERP, warehouse and feed integrations. We still work together on AI features for their merchants.

2016 – 2022
Freelance web developer, alongside full-time work, Nitra

Websites and web apps for Slovak clients, and front-end work on the RiverStream event platform for AltTag Media.

2016 – 2017
Web developer, Azet.sk, Žilina

Slovakia’s largest classifieds portal. RabbitMQ workflows for listing moderation and syndication, responsive redesign.

2015 – 2016
PHP developer, Webtec, Bratislava

E-shops on Nette: checkout, payments, MySQL tuning.

Ing. in Information Technology, Technical University of Košice, 2016. Slovak native, English B2.
